Brad Wilson comes to us with many years experience in the Garden Industry having worked in sales with several major wholesale suppliers in the garden and hardware industry.

Brad's role is in sales looking after our customers, and will be out and about on the road calling on retail stores ensuring that everyone is aware of the new ranges and assisting with instore presentation and merchandising.

The appointment of Brad will allow Andrew and Peter to better focus on other key areas of the business to ensure we get the latest and best products out into the market in the fastest and most affordable manner.

The Company Directors

Andrew Hogg, Peter Armstrong and Nobuo Takaoka are the 3 company directors of Takasho Australasia.

With combined experience of over 40yrs in Garden and Garden related products, the 2 Australian directors of Takasho Australasia, Andrew & Peter, have developed a very good understanding of what consumers in our market are looking for.

Andrew Hogg specialises and focuses on Product Sourcing, International Logistics, Marketing and Finance. Andrew has had extensive experience in our category as the owner of a retail nursery, international sourcing for one of the leading supplier of ceramic pots in Australia and as the buyer for a national garden and hardware retailer. Andrew is also a qualified horticulturalist and has an advanced diploma in business majoring in marketing.

Peter Armstrong is kept busy in the areas of Sales, Customer Service, IT and Local Warehousing & Logistics. Peter's experience has been in management of major corporate retail stores, followed by many years in various sales roles with major Australian suppliers to the garden industry. Peter has an executive certificate in wholesale/retail business management.

Nobuo Takaoka is the CEO of Takasho Co. Limited and has succesfully headed up Takasho Japan in becoming one of the leading suppliers of Garden and Landscape products to both the consumer and professional markets in Japan. Mr Takaoka also presides over the Takasho Global Group of companies including subsiduary companies in:

Germany, China and Korea

Mr Takaoka has always had a very keen personal interest in Gardening Culture and hosts a weekly garden radio program each Saturday in Osaka in Japan. Having travelled much of the world Mr Takaoka believes that Australian Gardening, although only very young, has an extremely universal appeal globally. So much so that he has introduced many of the gardening trends he has seen in recent visits to Australia into the Japanese market.

Whilst all having set individual areas of accountability within the business all 3 directors continually work together in every area of the business to ensure that Takasho customers get the best quality products at the fairest prices all the time!
